The fishing regs inside the box dated 1973, purchased at Kmart, no specific maker found. This 4000 open face spinning reel seems to be nearly new, with little use, the box needs some attention. It has 12 lb test line on it, no idea of age. Ball bearing construction, push button removable spool with adjustable drag, line capacity 220 yards. Info taken off of box. The handle can be loosened and turned to fit in to a smaller package.
