For sale here is a Vince Cummings 2-piece 8/9wt graphite/boron rod in excellent used condition. Model FL-690 SAL. Built on a sanded dark gray blank with yellow windings tipped black. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with a gap to allow for wear. Strap & ring hook keeper, 6.5" western grip is clean and smooth. Up-locking aluminum reel seat over wood spacer. The wooden butt cap can be swapped for a 2 1/4" fighting butt (included). The ceramic tip top has some visible tarnish and 2 hairline cracks in the insert (appears stable). Strong, medium fast action. A bit slower than most modern 8/9wt graphite rods, I prefer this one with a WF8. Sold in the original bag & tube with gold makers decal.
