For sale here is an 8' 2-piece / 2-tip 6wt, model 221 F.T. (Fast Taper) bamboo rod made by Everett Garrison. Serial # P-8-1, the rod is in excellent+ original condition. Made in 1972 for noted angler, bibliophile, and former president of the New York Angler's Club Carl Otto Kretzschmar Von Kienbusch. C.O. Kienbusch introduced Mr. Garrison to the Angler's Club in the 1930’s and remained a friend & champion of Garrison's work for the rest of his life. The rod consists of pumpkin toned cane with resorcinol glue lines, bronzed snake guides with hard chrome stripping guide. The wraps are transparent with dark brown at the ferrules and winding check.
