This hand planed bamboo rod is a 7' long, 2 piece rod supplied with 2 tips. It is based on Dickerson's classic 7012 taper that gives the caster some great dry fly action. This 4wt rod is best suited for small to medium sized streams or ponds where you can enjoy effortless casting while chasing your fish of choice.
The reel seat is cap and ring over cork and the 6" handle consists of a Fluor grade cork reverse half wells hand turned grip. Rod hardware is all nickel silver with blued ferrules and burgundy tipped red wraps while snake guides and the Mildrum carbide stripping guide are clear silk wrapped. The rod is a joy to cast and just as nice to look at.
Each rod is supplied with a custom sewn rod bag and a snug fitting cloth covered PVC tube to protect your heirloom during travel. Enjoy.
