Click on the pic to see it full size. On the trip to Pa I had the good fortune to hook with an acquaintance, Evan T Williams 2, that I know from both Flickr and Facebook. His suggestion was to meet at Highpoint Restaurant and Lounge in Coal Center Pa. If you ever get the chance, the view of the sharpest bend in the Monongahela is breath taking(especialy on the patio knowing you are out over the cliff). Directly across is Newell, distant right is California University of Pennsylvania www.calu.edu/ and unseen to the right is Coal Center, Pa. Like the add says, the fried pickles were great, I would define them as killer, either way.. .We discussed all sorts of abandonment in the area and finally left to get some pix of same.
